Totally bizarre and off the wall. If you're looking for a filmed version of Barris' The Gong Show, you won't find it here. The closet comparison I can't think of is Fosse's All That Jazz, as this is basically Chuck Barris exploring his own life and celebrity. Quite self-indulgent at times, but funny and interesting. If you can catch it on TV (the only way you can see it, as far as I know), take a chance and watch it.
