This is still a fun movie after two decades and has the distinction of being the first film I remember seeing at the theater.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, not so much now.

Not the greatest movie ever made, but I enjoy the hell out of it. I don't know if it's just the nostalgia coloring my view, but whenever I'm in a funk, I can pull this off the shelf, pop it in the player, and it's guaranteed to cheer me up.

Enjoyable enough, although it should be obvious to everyone that teens, kids, and nostalgic adults will get the most out of it.

This was one of my favorite movies when I was a child. Probably back then I would given it 85-90. Today it's more or less decent entertainment for one evening.

This is still a fun, exciting adventure movie. There are a few cheesy moments but overall I recommend this popcorn adventure. The young cast really works well together, they have a good chemistry.

A pretty classic coming-of-age tale. Only two words need to be said: Truffle Shuffle.

I never saw this a kid, so I imagine that's why, watching it today, it was incredibly disappointing and bland. Seeing a young Josh Brolin is kind of funny though. Watch the infinitely better "The Monster Squad".

One of the few movies I can watch anytime, anywhere, and I still get the same reaction I did when I was a kid. Is it hokey? You bet, but it wouldn't be the Goonies if it took itself seriously.

Possibly the greatest kids adventure ever made. It's true to say that they don't make them like this anymore, and thats a bad thing - this has enough adventure to keep the kids happy, and a sharp wit to keep adults entertained. And seriously - is there a better physical comedian than the kid who played "Chunk". Watch that performance and tell me that Hollywood didnt miss out on a superstar!
