Back when the content of a good cartoon wasn't just about colors, 3D or song and dance numbers. This film is one I still watch every so often even today. Every single character has redeeming qualities. Even Ratigan.

Just fine. Very straightforward. Failing to resist the temptation, one might even call it it elementary.

Good animation and a great villain, with Vincent Price nailing the part, makes a pretty good step forward for Disney.

This was one of my favorite cartoons and I still sing the sound track to this day. P.S. It's sad that this cartoon mouse make a better Sherlock Holmes than Robert Downey Jr..

At the very least different from most Disney fare, it still didn't do that much for me apart from the last 20 minutes or so but it's a pretty solid animated film nonetheless. Takes a bit too many short cuts both in story and production value but the voice acting is at least good. Not brilliant, but alright. Calling it a classic is quite a stretch.

Pretty good story with decent animation, the three main characters are wonderful and surprisingly well-developed for such a short movie. And there's a somewhat dark atmosphere that really works in a couple scenes. Unfortunately the songs kind of stink, and it does a poor job of building up the tension it was going for.

Really fun detective Sherlock type detective story with cute characters.

A favorite from when I was a kid. Vincent Price as Ratigan is absolutely brilliant, and worth the cost of admission alone.
