The ending is a documentarian's dream, but the film wasn't put together well, imo; still pretty entertaining.

A great documentary with an awesome ending that is almost too perfect. The film really succeeds in making you cheer (I scared my dog). It's inspiring, it's touching, it evokes a deep hatred for the WIAA, and most of all it makes you feel for everyone involved. And though I swear that coach was crazy, it's hard to argue with results. If you played basketball in high school you'll like this; an amazing story of personal triumph! Draw Blood, wtf :)

What I learned from this movie: too much women's basketball can lead to nervous fatigue. Oh, and that the WIAA are a bunch of elitist pricks...but we all knew that.

All told, it makes a good story, and the local news announcer would seem to be guiltless of hyperbole when he calls it "one of the greatest stories in high-school basketball in the state of Washington." (A decent number of qualifiers: "one of"... "high-school"... "Washington," and no need to add the qualifier of girls' basketball.) These stories happen all the time in sports, all over the place. Without the film, we would have missed this one.
