Many of the good 60s musicians either died or destroyed themselves with drugs, so rock QC took a SERIOUS hit. Kiss and Alice Cooper put on elaborate stage shows to keep people from noticing how mediocre their music was, and everybody else was slowly turning into a weenie. At the end of this episode Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty are held up as some kind of dual Great Hope Of Rock 'n' Roll, which was really not a good idea. Thank god for punk
