Just couldn't get into it. Just having a villain the audience is really appalled by is not enough to make them like or care about the hero.

Not what I was expecting at all, sort of a call out. The theme of paying attention was good and relevant, but with a cast of kids like this it's hard to believe no one noticed; I totally called "death" right away. If you're looking for horror, it is rather disturbing, but still, it's a drama first and foremost. Dennis Quaid and the rest of the cast did a good job, and Akerlund captured the hopelessness of forgotten teens well; though it could have been more subtle. The camerawork was very nice.

Disappointing

Huge disappointment. Average crime thriller with a completely predictable - and lame - ending. Kills time, but that's it.

Utter Crap. An absolutely idotic story with a real gem of a WTF ending. Avoid like the plague.

The acting was decent, but the story in general was a little too far-fetched for my liking.

Jesli chodzi o kwestie techniczne - jest okej, bardzo sprawna realizacja, dobre zdjecia, dynamika... Co jednak mi z tego, skoro fabula, choc poczatkowo intrygujaca i swoj potencjal ma, to od polowy filmu zaczyna sie rozdrabniac i po prostu siada wszystko, wlacznie z jej logika i sensem. Ponadto w niesamowicie irytujacy sposob gra aktorka wcielajaca sie w role Kristen. Nie polecam, choc wielkiej tragedii nie ma. Mocno przecietny tytul z ambicjami. Moze nastepnym razem sie uda.

Felt unfinished. Only interesting arc was Quaid's relationship with his sons. The torture mystery with the 'Horsemen' never gets going or convinces an eerie feeling. Story needed a re-write or two.
