An Italian homage to Star Wars. With that guy who played Jaws in the James Bond films. And you know the tin dog from Doctor Who? Yeah, his cousin is in it. Oh, and Ennio Morricone pretends to be Brian Eno. I really need to stop watching the films that The Horror Channel shows at ten o'clock in the morning.

Another 70s-80s sci-fi and the same issue I've found with others - that the content rarely meets the imagination and creation of the sets and costumes - are obvious here, cashing in on Star Wars and looking cheap in comparison. Kiel is wooden speaking, but emotes more when he's transformed into a simpleton machine man, and for some reason there's quansi-Eastern philosophy. If the film had been about Kiel, the mystical kid and the robotic dog it may have been better.
