Thomassejer gave this a shockingly high score of 70! It's in situations like this I feel like I don't know who he really is... Poor from start to finish. I giggled about five times. Proves that the only ones good at making these sort of films are the americans!

I think they did a great job of translating the TV show into a film. If you love the show you'll love the movie, if you don't like the show you won't like the movie, etc. So, in sticking with my opinion of the show, I thought it was funny but a bit underwhelming.

Not as good as any given episode of the series, but it gives a nice, if overly sentimental, end to the show.

I enjoyed the series a lot. It could be a little hit and miss, but overall, it’s very funny. The movie is pretty much exactly the same. It was predictable and cliché and all that, but it was fun. I had some good chuckles, for sure. It was the same plot I’d seen before in several comedies, but it was great seeing the characters again for possibly the last time.

If you've not seen the TV show this is likely to be an irritating and pointless experience! But as someone who by-and-large enjoyed the series, this was overall a lot of fun. It's obviously not actually a good movie, but "The Inbetweeners" has always been worth it if nothing else for the brilliance of "Jay" as a comic character. It's struggles through it's runtime a bit, and is very uneven, but anyone who got any laughs from the series will find themselves having a giggle at this.

Its far from perfect as the editing/pacing are a little off, some story elements are just forgotten and it seems like the production was quite rushed. The tv show is exceptional and this tries its best to recapture the magic which it mostly succeeds in doing. What it does do well though is make you laugh. And laugh again. At its heart its a great story of friendship knee deep in clunge that is a fitting end to an exceptional tv series.

Wonderful adaptation of the fantastic TV show, with nothing lost in the likeable and relatable characters, nor the great spot-on performances by all, nor the painful (but unforced) awkward moments, nor the feeling of wanting to be cool and appearing hugely out-of-place trying to accomplish it. A suitable ending to this portrayal of teenagers that doesn't exaggerate their zany antics or marginalise their nerd-isms.

More The Simpsons Movie disappointing than Kevin & Perry Go Large disaster, the Inbetweeners film consistently fails to reach the highs so often achieved by the television series. Goes through the motions with few surprises: the storyline is dull and predictable, and ill-fitting 'serious' scenes fail. Distinct lack of Jay's trademark stories too. Holding back on some gags to get the 15 certification could be blamed for part of the limpness, but it's lazy writing that's the real culprit here.

This 'Lads on Tour' film basically plays out like an extended episode of the TV series - for good and for bad. As such, the story - although more solid than those of the shorter TV episodes - is predictable and still quite weak. There are still plenty of laughs to be had, though, and I don't think I've laughed as hard at the TV show.
