I watched this with my dad, as his favourite comic as a child was Iron Man and when I was a child we used to watch the old series together. We were both disappointed by this in a fairly big way.

Retains the spirit of the Iron Man character from the comics, and has great animation. But, the voice acting is incredibly bad and there should have been more action.

Basically shit. The animation looks cheap as hell and the dialogue is pathetic. Avoid.

If I wouldn't have seen the new film first the impression of this one would be better. In these circumstances I found the story quite boring, but actually it is decent for a comic adaptation.

While there is a fairly decent twist towards the end, the plot is muddled, the reinterpretation of the Iron Man story unnecessary, and the melding of traditional and CG animation incredibly clumsy. The result is a film that not only fails to stand up to its live action counterpart but that falls massively short compared to other Marvel animated features. Definitely one of the weakest links in the chain.

A decent story, but it could have used a bit more action. The animation was good, but I can't stand when cartoon-style CGI and computer-style CGI (a la Reboot) are mixed. The elementals look lame, and walk stiffly, compared to the other animated characters.
