Yet another good example of not needing tons of money to shoot a decent movie. As a closed encounters thriller it is not as fancy as Saw, as original as Cube or as deep as that German movie about prisoners and guardians test. But with a nice connection with the contemporary psyche in the end, it redeems itself. My only objection is, they got the concept of apoptosis wrong, a typical case of viewing biological events with an ideological filter. Social molecular biology instead of social Darwinism

Too bad that people will only compare this to Saw. Suspense is maintained throughout the movie, the story is compelling, and the acting is above average. Some may complain that "nothing is explained" because there isn't a convenient Saw-esque "explain-the-whole-story-for-those-who-missed-it-flashback-montage," but then again, some people enjoy Ernest Goes to Jail.

Who the hell is giving this movie high scores? The ending is awful and leaves me thinking "THE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!"
And stop comparing this to Cube, Cube is in a different league!

Reminded me of "Cube" quite a lot. One of those movies that takes place mostly in just one room, but doesn't really grow boring. Sufficiently entertaining as it was, I didn't really feel that I got much out of it in the end and I'm pretty sure I'll soon forget what the movie was even about.

A film that seems original but at times seems really try-hard. Relatively meaningless, but interesting enough to see the situation of the characters.

My enjoyment was slightly held back, because I kept thinking "oh god, there's going to be some stupid twist at the end that will ruin everything, I can feel it". But once the end rolled around.. there wasn't! All in all, a pretty nice thriller with a few powerful moments and a deliciously cynical concept.
