The Kovak Box is well directed and it looks like one of those serious fresh thriller movies. It contains interesting plot and the promising beginning. But what it lacks is acting over all. And the story ends up to be entirely baloney. Further you go, less you like it. And it is far away from thrilling movie. Really.

What a waste. Very promising start, good story actually, but Timothy Hutton excels in being absent-minded throughout the movie. I've heard about rent-paying jobs, actors ocasionaly do. I guess this one was for Timothy.
