Summary: When two people "connect" the bond between them can be so pure and simple as to stir hearts in heaven. When they connect in all the right places at all the wrong times, heaven weeps for broken hearts. To heal these broken hearts, heaven breaks time. (imdb)
It has a nice twist on your typical romance film because while they might be in love it's not at the right time or place. Both Keanu and Sandra are perfect together, having worked together before, and while we don't really see them on screen together much in the film, their connection is visible. Its a little slow moving at parts, but the clever twists and turns make up for it, especially the final scenes of the film. Overall fans of romance films will find themselves falling for it.
For me, it was different enough to be good. Slow at times but it moved enough to keep me interested. The Keanu & what-her-name could've been replaced by anyone with more talent than an eggplant & I would have stayed with it.
Bullock and Reeves acquit themselves quite well, but the premise (which I for some reason found less ridiculous when this movie was called Frequency) is unbelievably flawed. The ludicrousness of their actions is unacceptable and completely undercuts the film. Too bad.
Average. Its like "back to the future" only with a mailbox instead of a DeLorean, and way few thrills and too much sap. If you like soap operas, you'll like this. If not, stay clear.
"When two people "connect" the bond between them can be so pure and simple as to stir hearts in heaven. When they connect in all the right places at all the wrong times, heaven weeps for broken hearts. To heal these broken hearts, heaven breaks time." --> is this crap for real? *shudders*
