Summary: As Alice and Cora Munro attempt to find their father, a British officer in the French and Indian War, they are set upon by French soldiers and their cohorts, Huron tribesmen led by the evil Magua. It's hard to be fair to this film. On the one hand it's a very engaging story and quite fast paced for a silent. It also has a certain progressive core to it that's refreshing. On the other hand there are an awful lot of cringeworthy stereotypes. The good certainly wins out, but the blemishes are hard to ignore.
