A better story and script and good supporting actors and characters lift this one up. Still TV movie fair, but really GOOD TV movie fair.

Mostly harmless fun with vampires and some better acting set mostly in New Orleans. I only wish there was more globetrotting and perhaps a happier ending.

this is the first librarian movie where the plot takes full realization of the ludicrous premises that librarian movies boast so prominently, and it is completely and utterly amazing, if an over-the-top b-version of indiana jones sounds good to you than you must watch this movie.

Yay! B grade Indiana Jones! It sure beats the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Finally, in the third installment, the Librarian series takes off and feels like a fully realised movie, rather than just scrapings of other films that have been welded together. Wyle, Curtin and Newhart are great as ever, the plot feels cohesive and Katic's romantic interest seems worth the effort. It has its problems (the last half-hour, for example, feels like little more than a bad-accent competition), but it's the first in the series that could legitimately be described as worth a watch.

Corny, cheesy, cliched and campy and still more entertaining than "Temple of Doom " and "Crystal Skull" combined. Then again, so was my last root canal. I think this is the best one of the series.

If you've stuck with the Librarian so far you won't be sorry, the Curse of the Judas Chalice is the best one yet!
