Summary: Pirates take over a lighthouse on a rocky island. They then execute a devious plan to cause ships to run aground, pillaging their wrecks. A lone member of the lighthouse crew survives, and he deperately fights their plot. A shipwrecked maiden that avoids the pirates slaughter soon complicates the situation. (imdb)

Kirk Douglas and Yul Brynner cross swords (not really) in this weird pirate-themed movie. Kirk Douglas is the lightkeeper and has to defend himself from the horde of pirates invading his island. Not a lot of action in this movie, and lots of violence - but it's really low-budget stuff. Can be fun, but most definitely not for everyone.
