Question: Where is Zira in TLK 1? Scar takes over a kingdom and she plays homemaker somewhere else? With her personality? I just did not like this movie... it taints the original, if you ask me. Overdone plot, no great new characters... and don't even get me started on the song 'Upendi'.

I'm really annoyed that they attempted to make a sequel to this amazing, yet in my opinion a one-off movie. The music is quite good in this though, but still nowhere near as good as "Circle of Life" or "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?".

This is a very well made sequel. Great animation, story, and music. Sticks to the Shakespeare storyline too; First movie is like Hamlet, while the sequel is like Romeo and Juliet.
