One of the better Bond movies and characters, Timothy Dalton is near perfect in the role. Great action sequences, great villains and just all around great. Maryam D'Abo is soooo fine.

The plot is all over the place, jumping from place to place, character to character without nearly enough coherence. The villains are terribly weak and lack focus. Some nice action at the airfield and a few cool lines from Bond ("I know a nice restaurant in Karachi; we can just make it for dinner") but overall this is really forgettable stuff. The music is one of the high points, as the soundtrack is well above the typical standard for the series.
