Thank god for Pia Zadora. I genuinely love her. She is shat on regularly by pretty much everyone but always gives it her all and looks great doing it. This is her finest moment. Underneath the film's made-for-tv aesthetics, hilariously shitty soundtrack and obvious campy delights ("is THIS more your kick?"), believe me it really IS an accurate portrayal of the industry - a soul-sucking cesspool of assholes, sleazebags, impotent intellectuals and predatory lesbians lurking in hot tubs. A+
