Summary: The story of pro quarterback Paul Crewe and former college champion and coach Nate Scarboro who are doing time in the same prison. Asked to put together a team of inmates to take on the guards, Crewe enlists the help of Scarboro to coach the inmates to victory in a football game "fixed" to turn out quite another way.

Considering every movie from 2005 was a remake, this was ok. It stuck to the original pretty well, and added some other funny stuff. Also, great casting. 90% of the cast were real athletes. I could have done without Nelly, however.

Near the end there Adam Sandler was loosing his edge, but he's coming back and this film had me laughing in the theatres

It scores some points because it had a bunch of wrestlers in it like Austin and Khali. Other than that, pretty average Sandler comedy which is enriched by the work of Rock & Reynolds.

Brainless, even for a Sandler flick. Michael Irvin ended up being a pretty decent actor, though. There were some really, really awful things in this movie, though. I mean, come on, a RODNEY KING joke? Who wrote this shit? And I hate Tracy Morgan with a passion now. Who decided he was funny and/or talented?
