Has its moments. They never should have pushed the z-movie premise past 75 minutes though.

Funny as hell, but the jokes based on repetitiveness and the blandness of 50's sci-fi make me think it has limited replay value. I also think they could have pushed things just a little farther in the strange department. Still excellent.

it's a parody of a cheesy 50's camp movie by being a cheesy 50's camp movie. so accordingly, the same people who find said movies entertaining will appreciate this. i do not.

Absolutely hilarious! The first few minutes caught me by surprise, and I began to laugh with a mouthful of soda and spit it into my popcorn; an amateur move, I know. As someone who has watched many, many B-movies, I really appreciated this film about a scientist who may be doing too much science, and the scientist's wife (that is, the wife of the scientist; which is apparently a hard vocation, yet good) as they investigate a meteor that could mean a lot to science.

Every bit as worthy a consideration to a fan of atomic-age schlock as Young Frankenstein is to a fan of classic horror. Brian Howe is a revelation.

This was listed under the "Horror" genre, but it's actually a comedy. More specifically, it's a spoof of 50's/60's horror movies. If you like MST3k, you would probably enjoy this.

Pants-poopingly funny, but it's trying so hard to recreate and ridicule old horror movies that it ends up not seeming like a spoof, but seeming like it actually is one. So overall, it's hilarious, but it goes a little too far. Meh!

Okay, since I can't rate things 101, I'm going to have to make it up with this review. Everyone in my immediate family has seen this movie at least 10, possibly 15 times. We laughed every time. I cannot say enough good things about this. There's a sequel, Trail of the Screaming Foreheads, but apparently the trail hasn't reached circulation yet. It's been shown at some film festivals. I would really like to see it. This is totally rated 101.

While certain parts of the movie were amusing, I found this to be too self-conscious of the material it was parodying to be fully enjoyable. Honestly, just watch a 50s B-movie if you want some funny crap.

One of the best horror parodies out there. So silly, strange, and has a really loving, brilliant wit about the genre. Might overdo a few of the jokes and seems like the entire production was made out of cardboard, but that's just the point isn't it?
