This movie kicks so awesome it's not even funny. Yeah, you can say "Oh, I'm feeling a little too saturated with Matrix." But no, forget the sequels. Sit down and watch this one and remember how classic it is. You won't be sorry.

When CGI first became used, this is the dream that fans hoped would one day be fulfilled; a visually intoxicating, thoughtful science fiction universe with spectacular fights and meaningful dramatic scenes. No matter how many times it has been parodied, copied, or downplayed, there is no denying what an absolute revelation this film was, and still is compared to the garbage CGI blockbusters of today, 11 years later. Not as deep or exciting as other sci-fi masterpieces, but the most exciting.

Loved it as a teenager, for what that's worth. Of course this movie is a classic.

An over hyped movie in which the special effects steals the show. Sure the movie was good and the acting was decent, but at times the really dragged on through was kind of boring at times. What this movie did do, was really raise the bar of the special effects for future science fiction movies, but I didn't think the story was all that great. Enjoyable movie, yes Worth your time to watch, yes. But this is a far cry form some of the best science fiction around.
