Summary: Danny DeVito directs and stars in this hilarious film about a successful trucker from New Jersey, Vic De Salvo, who pulls a clever scam to become the producer and star of the nation's No. 1 TV show. With the help of Francine (Rhea Perlman, DeVito's real-life wife), who works for the TV audience controller, Vic locates and kidnaps the 200 families who have rating meters on their television sets and manipulates their data.
