I've seen less interesting and less adept films, but this is still really boring. Mst3k score: 7/10

Very boring, my god. Has a 5-minute long scene of people descending from a rope, seeing there asses most of the time. And the dance near the end! Damn! MST3K was ok during the movie, and great during the dance scene

Complete with overgesturing introductory guy (he may have been the film's highlight). Agar just basically reads from an encyclopedia throughout. On the whole, a dismally boring affair. Still, a rarity for a 1950s sci-fi movie: the female lead doesn't appear until we are more than halfway through. But any film featuring both Alfred the Butler dressed as a 1920s flapper and Ward Cleaver ought to be a lot more fun than this.

Archeologists find a lost civilization and proceed to dismantle it because the people are too white. The ironies of the New World are entirely lost upon this scholarly group. Besides this though there's a pretty good low budget production with a somewhat clever (and almost literal) Deus ex machina. Not recommended on its own terms but MST3k does a beautiful job with it.

I think it's funny that they had to climb a mountain in order to get to the mole people hills.
