A very subtle, slow-burning black comedy, hard to like at first but it grew on me. The kind of indirect social commentary and deliberate exploration of messed up family relationships reminded me of Dogtooth. This film has plenty of dogs, but lacks the teeth to leave a permanent mark. Nevertheless, there are several scenes which gently tickle the mind and make us question our lives. Interesting use of the colour orange - perhaps a destructive force which is invading the characters' lives?
