Summary: Struggling music promoter Rod Blue (Joel Edgerton) needs to find an act that will change his luck, so he heads to L.A. to persuade Frank Sinatra's handler to give him a shot at promoting Sinatra's Australian tour. Rod gets his chance, but when his journalist girlfriend, Hilary (Portia de Rossi), starts asking Ol' Blue Eyes and gal pal Barbara Marx (Melanie Griffith) too many questions, the partnership sours and Sinatra lands in a heap of trouble.
