This has to be no doubt the best thing to come from Disney. Every single moment of this short film is pure beauty, from the precious score to the little sight gags with the animals; the strength of the storm and the continuity of life. Very few things can inspire so much with so little and make such a simple narration sound so dramatic, deep and powerful. Definitely a masterpiece to watch and enjoy again and again, never gets old and every single minute of it is worth the experience.

I dunno why this isn't liked more. Maybe the fact that I saw it as a young kid helps but it seriously blew my mind then, and I think it's still pretty great now. It's the eerie music more than anything else. I like the Disney movies that interpret music, Fantasia's the obvious example there (this was released through Disney, right?)
