Indeed a fun film if you're just looking for silly action... I mean, 15 minutes into the movie and we've already had one martial arts fight, one shoot out and two car chases! The plot is pretty much identical to that of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade however... a bit weird.

The drama and suspense is horrible and nonsensical, featuring dozens of plotholes. The fact that they focus so much on it, complete with trite speeches featuring awful dialogue, makes this a misery to sit through. Then, we FINALLY do get to the fights, (which should be the main and only part of any JCVD action flick) it's crappy, generic, and utterly mailed-in. A brutal failure on every level.

Well... It was filmed in Israel, so I was interrested to see Van Damme make the holy land go boom. But... Damn, this film is just horrible. Not that I expected much, but this film is a collection of old Chuck Norris/Steven Seagal action scenes reenacted in Israel. It's as awful as that.
