Disappointingly dull, not nearly as good as the first. The actors all do a great job, but there is pretty much zero script so it doesn't matter. It feels and looks like a weak episode of Gunsmoke.

nothing special, i'm glad astaire didn't call it quits in '46 like he intended, but this is not something to merit him sticking around. brennan is always good, but lacking production values and an all around uninteresting story isn't going to keep this afloat.
