Not only does the script seem like it was cribbed directly from Objectivism for Dummies, the plot is weak, and it's very difficult to believe that anyone is throwing themselves at Eric Stoltz. Fonda and Delpy give a couple of nicely understated performances, but ultimately Mirren's horrendous Russian accent is as offensively bad as her character's philosophies. Boring, stilted, and full of characters it's just too easy to dislike.
