Brilliant shots, beautiful style and very nice plot. Add more than solid acting and its a pretty good result!

Utterly terrible, it's so overwrought and pretentious it's borderline funny. The constant droning ridiculous narration is mind numbing.

"An undeniably odd mixture of 80% noir, 15% action, and 5% random homage. I dug it."

Whoa, super camp. Purposefully over the top, cliched and melodramatic. To me it seemed almost like an audio book with moving pictures added after the fact for good measure, complete with the narrator commenting on said moving pictures. Thankfully this lessened somewhat as the film progressed. Oddly I liked this film against all indicators against but can nonetheless understand why people might walk out on it. The novelty kept me watching to the end.
