Summary: In October 1991, a confluence of weather conditions combined to form a killer storm in the North Atlantic. Caught in the storm was the sword-fishing boat Andrea Gail. Magnificent foreshadowing and anticipation fill this true-life drama while minute details of the fishing boats, their gear and the weather are juxtaposed with the sea adventure. (imdb)

Very impressive special effects, but nothing else. Not even Big George on form can refloat this one. In fact, the CGI is so overwhelming that this could just as easily have been an animated film. Let's get it straight though, dead men don't tell tales, so this is not (based on) a true story. More marks might be available if the music was only terrible as opposed to wrist-slittingly bad. I suspect that this would sound better in Davy Jones' Locker!
