Summary: At the bottom of the ocean a mysterious radioactive rock percolates a stew of mutation that produces a hideous monster from the depths. The government sends an agent and a scientist to investigate when horribly burned, radioactive corpses begin to pop to the ocean's surface.

Atypical Cold-War Creature Feature: competently made but doesn't try to go beyond it's own boundaries. The plethora of idiotic characters makes it watchable and the creature itself is half-decent.
