Summary: Leung Jan is a young martial artist from a wealthy family. He has fought over three hundred times in Foshan and won every fight, but his opponents are being bribed to lose. This has caused Jan to believe that he is a world-class fighter, but in truth he hasn't even mastered the basics of kung fu and any real fighter could easily defeat him. Everyone knows this but him, giving him the nickname "The Prodigal Son" behind his back.

By Western standards, an unsettling mix of broad comedy and bloody violence, but done with some style.

Simply the best Wing Chun action ever filmed, and for my money, the greatest martial arts film of all time. This is Sammo's masterpiece for sure, but Mr Vampire himself Lam Ching-Ying steals the show.

Essential Wing Chun film. The sorta-sequel to Warriors Two, and both are required viewing for kung fu maniacs.
