This is my favorite Punisher movie. Thomas Jane played a great Punisher, and unlike Warzone this movie actually has a good plot.

The Punisher is ultimately not very good. There's a good film in here somewhere, but it doesn't get to shine through when everything is so dark and dreary. It has its good moments, and has a surprising amount of characterization, but it's not all that enjoyable to watch. There are a few parts where it drags, the beginning of the film especially, and it is also incredibly anti-climactic. Watching it might be more of a punishment than anything that actually happens in the film.

I liked this movie more than i should have. Probably because i like Thomas Jane so much (watch this clean Landry short if you want to see how the Punisher should have been directed).

I believe this movie has been met with far too much criticism. Which has probably boosted my opinion of it. A scene I really like in the movie is where Harry Heck (Mark Collie) walks into the diner and plays Frank a song. I felt the scene to be very surreal.
