Infuriating subject matter. The elitist excesses of the Royal Family underline how anachranistic the British Monarchy is in 21st century society. Thought Phil the Greek and the Queen Mum made a great "axis of insensitivity", but apart from their portrayal this is just an endless stream of snivelling, sychophantic Dianna & Betty arse-kissing. Most importantly, Cherie's arse wasn't big enough to be historically accurate, but in all other respects McCrory was excellent. Vive La Republic!!

The central conceit is that this represents what actually really really happened behind the scenes, and so it occupies a very uncomfortable fake documentary area that stops it from getting interesting.
