While not as good as the first film in this series Peter Cushing gives another fine performance as Dr. Frankenstein.

Love the Doctor's Council: HERE HERE *Rabble rabble* pish posh. The movie is over before you know it, the pacing is ... ... monstrous. heh

pretty gleeful expansion of the frankenstein formula. great acting.

If I could erase that horribly rushed ending from my mind, and that now this time - instead of a Nosferatu impression - the monster is directly stealing everything that Boris Karloff put into playing his character in The Haunted Strangler, this is pretty good; really an improvement on the original. But the flaws remain and we're left with something that's just passing the time.

Peter Cushing at his best, Terence Fisher at his best and Hammer at it's best. Throw in cannibalism and you can't miss.

Now this is more like it. Well-paced, good performances, and wonderful black humor

Passes the time.
