Summary: Anton Chekhov's play "The Seagull" is brought to life in this acclaimed 1975 production directed by John Desmond. Pretty good adaptation. It's a bit dry in places, but that's standard for most Chekhov productions. The cast is exceptional, particularly Frank Langella, Kevin McCarthy, & Lee Grant.
