Summary: Timmy is summoned to Thorn Valley to learn his destiny among the rats of NIMH, as he has an honored place as the son of Jonathan Brisby. Young and impetuous, he has much to learn about thinking things through. When word comes that NIMH still has some of the mice and rats of NIMH who were thought lost, the rats of NIMH opt not to rescue them. When Timmy hears his brother Martin was captured and is being held by NIMH as well, Timmy sets off to rescue him. (by maddog)

Why? Seriously, why? Thank goodness it's so entirely forgettable, lest it'd be haunting me with its insanity of pointlessness.

A very large joke. Far less good than the predecessor in terms of quality of storytelling and animation. There's even SONGS, for fuck's sake!

It's like chewing gum with a cyanide pill hidden inside. And you bite into it right when Timmy gets to the Great Owl. *CRUNCH*

Is there a negative score option? I'd like to suggest it, if only for this movie. It earns 50 points for building off of Don Bluth's The Secret of Nimh, which could have a decent sequel. But it does it without Bluth! It promptly loses them all: sloppy story, unnecessary song, plot holes, totally unfaithful to original tenets of the first film, poor animation. How do you escape a burning lab? Launch hundreds of feet into the air, through the glass roof, and hope someone catches you. Ugh.
