The Film Delivers everything quite well. The Acting is really good coming from Danny and Jack while some of the other actors kind of just read their lines. Cinematography was excellent and used in a dark and eerie kind of feel. Music was spot on. Stanley Kubrick delivers a well made and crafted film although I did not like some of the acting or long pointless scenes I still consider this one of the best movies to date. Great!

The most subliminally psychological film back-dropped against the insular Overlook Hotel, by which contrasts the twisted nature of resentment and oppression. Kubrick, additionally, presents very subtlety, the duality existing between the tangential relationship of the supernatural and the natural; while neither prevaricating nor stressing the white man burden. And, is the only horror film that etches a feeling of disturbance right into the psych; rather than attempting to frighten by cheap jumps

Tense and mysterious. The way horror is supposed to be. Throw in the usual beautiful Kubrick cinematography and a perfect lead actor, you get a nearly perfect movie
