Unless your idea of comedy is to laugh at -- and it is at, not with -- people who are deliberately scripted to be as irritating and one-dimensional as possible, there's nothing to see here. Simultaneously, any dramatic realism is pushed forcefully out of the window by the absurdist sense of hyper-monotony that drips from the dialogue. Even at a few minutes, Leigh still manages to outstay his welcome.
