A formulaic weeper/teen drama with admittedly excellent performances by the four main women, as in the first movie.

I know this was supposed to be a chick flick, but my god, they totally messed it all up.

Agonizing from beginning to end.

Not at all like the books. Way too much was lost in the slaughter of the literature. Way, way too much.

It's an acceptable sequel and realistically depicts the concerns of young women, but I felt that by combining the 3 remaining books into one movie, a lot of potential character growth and more exploration of the girls' lives and interests was left behind.

I understand this is a chick flick and is intended for dumbass 13 year old girls but when you fuck up a chick flick it is one of the most god awful things in existence. And guess what? Another trite, Hollywood cluster fuck where the most implausible shit happens. I hate America Ferrera with a passion.

If you take this as chick flick, as it's intended, it's actually an enjoyable movie.

Better than the first one.

I was kind of dreading having to watch this since the preview was obnoxious and I hadn't seen the first film, and while it was very predictable it was actually fairly enjoyable. The leading cast did a fine job with the material. The director should've taken better advantage of the Greek locations.
