The killings felt arbitrary, lacking in either poetic irony or, it seemed, actual justice. And there wasn't much else to it, other than the hot-n-heavy Miami Vice homage setting.

It suffers from its brevity, but there's definitely enough here to serve as an introduction, even if it's a little on the confusing side; unfortunately, it's a little too setpiece-heavy to be really enjoyable, despite Cole's lead.
