Similar feel to Dante Lam's previous movie "Fire of Conscience." Acting is good, but by the end it just feels like a bunch of scenes pasted together. Starts off seeming like a fresh perspective on stool pigeons and how coolly and methodically they're exploited by the police but degenerates into forced drama and brutality. Good for an action fix but not much more. Lots of unexpected cuts that are more confusing than exciting. Lun-mei Guey unfortunately doesn't have many action scenes.

Behind all the thrills and an otherwise actionpacked storyline, lies tragedy. Not seamlessly assembled, but a bold effort.

Messy plotline with some entertaining action scenes thrown in now and then.
