This is the same as all the other empty fantasy junk that came out in the wake of "Conan The Barbarian". I like fantasy movies, but this is just poor. The hero is lame and ends up needing saving himself more than once, and the triple bladed sword is beyond ridiculous. Avoid.

Even with nostalgia on its side it's undeniably bad. The music is uninspired trash and the gimmick weapon is laughable. What's better than a sword with 3 blades? Well one that can shoot out each blade and inexplicably return intact later in the movie of course. Below average pulp fantasy stuff that doesn't hold up at all. The last 15 minutes of the film has some of the most eye rolling dialog and scenes ever.

Epic Errol Flynn moment is the absolute highlight, in this otherwise rather forgettable fantasy flick, made in the same mold as Red Sonja. The best I've seen from Pyun, though.

With 90% swords and a paltry 10% sorcerer, I felt the title of this film was grossly misleading. My biggest question was, why would the torturer keep pumping the grindstone's peddle when his head was being forced onto it?

Trashy Conan-like tale of... erm... sword and sorcery. First saw it in 83 and when I bought the Anchor Bay DVD recently I was thinking: "OK, I like to waste money!" But, nooo... It's really entertaining (If you're into this kind of stuff, that is).

Bottom of the barrel fantasy flick, but it has its' moments of idiotic, Errol-Flynn-on-steriods-and-smack charm.
