It's certainly interesting to see John Cleese in a classical role (and perhaps surprising how well he pulls it off), and Miller's subtlety in dealing with a play that is all-too-often used as an excuse for overacting and scenery-chewing. The only person who remotely fits that description here is Penhaligon, but even that's negligible, and easily ignored in the larger scheme of things.
