John Wayne's 3rd and last Mascot serial. And it's the usual cheap production values, but it's got enough entertainment to keep one awake. Funny thing is that John Wayne (as the character Tom Wayne - wow, so much imagination!) gets only 4th billing in the credits, but it's clearly his serial. It's because "The Three Musketeers" gets the first places as Wayne is the 4th member in the legion. This also features Lon Chaney Jr., Noah Beery Jr. and Francis X. Bushman Jr..... all sons of silent stars.
