to be honest, i was surprised. it was quite funny - but does anyone actually believe that this movie was meant seriously? it just some kind of unique, bizarre oddity - and if you take it as just this, it's quite refreshing and funny.

There's potential, but the first half of the film takes so long to get going... Lots of missed opportunities for Reaganite quips, specifically "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

i have to give it to arquette for pulling together so many familiar faces, but as a writer he's seriously lacking. the production values of this movie are definitely acceptable, the problem is that it's simply a bad horror movie, not enough blood, kills, or an interesting plot. it does, however, get bonus points for ronald reagan mass killing hippies--that is something to watch.

Deputy Dewey Arquette tries his luck at making political slasher. One of his best decisions was to get Mewes to act himself, Mewes rules. Overall, this film is not fun enough to be enjoyable bad flick. There is nothing in the plot that would make it standout from other low budget slashers. Political aspect of the plot is underdeveloped, like the rest of the film.

Arquette clearly had a lot of fun starring in the Scream series, so he tries his hand at the tongue-in-cheek horror-comedy genre. The political commentary is pretty lame and sophomoric, but honestly I don't think it ever tries to go beyond that level. Fun and goofy, but not very memorable or clever.

This is a must-see on the level that it is unclassifiable as far as horror goes. The characters are obviously over-the-top cliches, yet the movie goes on as if it is a legitimate horror movie, yet even the kills are done with a healthy dose of comedy (for the most part). On top of all of that, it is bizarre and outlandish in the whole nature of the story/backstory. A very unique film, to say the least.
