Strangely, Mark Wahlberg playing Cary Grant is not the worst thing about this trainwreck of a movie: even with a terrible script, a dull plot and Thandie Newton's epically poor acting, that award has to go to Tim Robbins's dire attempt to recreate the original film's Walter Matthau. The end result is a weak, insipid pseudo-thriller that really amounts to nothing more than hundred minutes of your life you're never getting back.
