[MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS] Oh, how they tried. The movie starts out as the typical american 'horror' movie, with sex, alcohol and barely legal teens. Then moves on to a failed attempt at asian visual story-telling, with boring Grudge-esque scenes which made me facepalm a couple times. Finally, the "clever" finale - the this-is-all-an-illusion twist. Yeah, brilliant, I'm sure no one saw that coming. All and all, an average movie for people who enjoy a casual horror movie.

Not very well constructed film, feels fragmented. The script is quite bad and so is the acting. In contrary to many other peoples opinion I found that the ending was not suitable. In my opinion too easy and the easy-way-out plot in this genre. Sure we didn't see that coming, Guard brothers. Cough.

Actually, not half bad for a PG-13 Horror Flick. Don't get me wrong, it IS a B-Movie, but it's kind of refreshing to see a horror flick that relies more on tension than blood and gore. I definitely recommend this one (for a rental)!

This movie truthfully caught me off-guard. Every inch of it is familiar, and as bad as this movie seems throughout, in the end it came full-circle for me. A lot of the scares (which there are a few), over-the-top performances, and payoffs have been tried and true, yet this one surprised me in a way similar films have not. It's a clever movie wisely disguised as a stupid one.

Okay, not too bad for an Asian horror remake. There were some big changes though, both in story and tone, in comparison to the original. If you want to see something more deep and psychological, take a look at "A Tale of Two Sisters" - if something more simple with increased thriller elements and no subtitles appeals to you, try this one.

Actually better than expected. I'm usually not really into horror flicks because they often are ridiculous over the top. This one knew who to hide the most part of it , and surprised me at the end. Diddn't see it coming. But besides that plot twist at the end it hasn't anything extra to offer.

What a Thriller and what a twist! This film has it all with a very intriguing storyline that follows Anna's return home after a stay in a mental hospital, and the events that follow. Its a very spooky film with some heart-racing moments for the first time you watch it, but its the clever storyline and such a shocking twist at the end that really make this film what it is. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and anyone who loves a good twist at the end will be more than happy with this film!

a slick genre change and slight plot tweaks cant hide the fact that this is a "fight club" rip-off. even though it's a good movie to rip-off this movie has hollywood greed written all over it, and where the other succeeds this movie has only a shell of those great aspects. dont waste your time on this movie, there are far better.

Thoroughly adulterated tripe with a twist that, expected or not, does nothing to repair the damage done throughout the previous 80 minutes. Avoid this vile, steaming pile of garbage unless you have a pressing need to be bored, or perhaps need a good nap. Postscript, the acting is not good.

The synopsis conveniently left for me on the back of the DVD case was right, my spine was left shaking after that ending. No, it wasn't. This movie was complete garbage. The acting was horrible, everyone tried to seem like they were right and the others were wrong and that's that.
