Scott plays an interesting character: a misanthrope who has not yet hardened into bitterness. Not much new here, but I liked the messiness of life leading to change.

Most of these points are going to Adam Scott (get into more movies, please) and that hilarious supermarket scene. But overall it's just another indie drama trying to be quirky. I mean really, it ends with a song....
